Did he/she really approve? If yes, discuss why you want these requests run by you. Same with lunching employees - if you have authority over these folks, tell them to get to work. Complaining makes you feel better for a moment - fixing the problem makes you feel better long-term.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793561531129775733.post-75335626941799402732011-02-05T12:42:25.201-08:002011-02-05T12:42:25.201-08:00As a pharmacy manager, I have run into the problem...As a pharmacy manager, I have run into the problem of my name being used when I'm not there. A tech/cashier wants to leave early so the say that the manager said it was OK when no such thing was said. Double check with the manager. Ask that any changes like this not only be cleared with you or be clearly marked on the posted schedule. I never do this to my other pharmacists. If someone wants to leave early they request it far enough in advance for me to get it covered, find coverage themselves or check with the pharmacist who will be on duty at said time. No exceptions!lovinmyjobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02251424092621233215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793561531129775733.post-21763591007677881752011-01-24T19:54:52.193-08:002011-01-24T19:54:52.193-08:00All good points and valid complaints! All good points and valid complaints! The Redheaded Pharmacisthttp://www.theredheadedpharmacist.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793561531129775733.post-68313717894507937862011-01-24T18:32:02.299-08:002011-01-24T18:32:02.299-08:00Very valid.Very valid.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793561531129775733.post-64234824260681659692011-01-24T10:46:52.542-08:002011-01-24T10:46:52.542-08:00All justified. All justified.Grumpy, M.D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09858110332436246760noreply@blogger.com
